Moroccan Prime Minister Abdel-llah Benikran gave telecom regulator ANRT the green light to launch a call for tenders for LTE licenses at the body\'s recent board meeting, reports Telecompaper. The licensing process is long overdue, according to earlier reports stating that it would take place in autumn 2012, then before the end of 2013. The prime minister also called on all actors to redouble their efforts in the area of universal service provision to improve population coverage and support digital evolutions to meet the daily needs of citizens, businesses and the government across the national territory.
