Omnitel expands LTE network to almost half Lithuania’s population
Lithuanian mobile operator Omnitel has expanded its LTE network coverage to Telsiai, Plunge, Ariogala, Tytuvenai, Radviliskis, Ignalina, Kvedarna, Kelme, Kursenai and Rietavas, making it now accessible in 46 villages, towns, and cities across the country, or more than 40 percent of the people, Telecompaper.com writes, reminding us that Omnitel started commercial LTE network services in April 2011, and they have been accessible by smartphones since this March.
