The Azerbaijani government plans to use LTE networks to provide broadband services in remote areas of the country, reports Trend, citing Iltimas Mamedov, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. A pilot project will be launched soon, funded by the Azerbaijan Oil Fund. The project will be carried out by state-owned operators Aztelecom and BTRIB within the next three months.
