Indian service provider selects DragonWave for LTE network
The global packet microwave radio system supplier, DragonWave, has announced the finalization of an agreement with a national service provider in India, reports Telecompaper.com, noting that the first purchase orders for several thousand links have been made to provide microwave products and related services. DragonWave will provide several thousand turnkey Horizon Compact+ links to support the Indian operator\'s plan to roll out nationwide LTE networks.
The deployment will include services to be delivered by DragonWave\'s Indian joint venture, DragonWave HFCL. Horizon Compact+ has a combination of 2,048 QAM modulation together with the industry\'s only bandwidth accelerator bulk compression capability.
