On Telecom expands TD-LTE network to five more cities

The Brazilian operator On Telecom has announced the extension of its TD-LTE network in the 2.6-GHz band to five more cities in the state of Sao Paulo - Americana, Araras, Indaiatuba, Jaguariuna, and Santa Barbara d\'Oeste - according to Telecompaper.com, citing Teletime and noting that the network was previously available only in Itatiba, Nova Odessa, and Valinhos.

The operator has plans to extend its TD-LTE network to 20 cities. It is offering a fixed Internet service for residences and corporations and has free connectivity for schools, public libraries and community centers. Monthly subscriptions vary, from BRL 59.90 ($27), giving a speed of 5-Mbps and data franchise of 10-GB, to BRL 169.90 for 15-Mbps and 60-GB).
