Telekom Slovenije registered over 100,000 users on its LTE mobile network in June, Telecompaper.com said on July 3, 2014. The 4G network is available to customers in 110 Slovenian towns, covering more than 60 percent of the population. The operator is continuing its intensive network expansion, so that high-speed mobile Internet services will be available to more than 75 percent of the population by the end of the year. The expansion and upgrade of the network is possible after obtaining frequencies in the 800 MHz band. Maximum speeds are up to 150 Mbps to the user and up to 50 Mbps from the user.
