Russian mobile operator Megafon has launched its LTE network in Ingushetia republic, Telecompaper.com reported on July 31, 2014. The network offers the republic speeds of up to 100 Mbps and covers 70 percent of the city of Magan, where LTE services are now available. LTE also covers 40 percent of the city of Nazran’s area. The operator plans to increase coverage to 90 percent of the cities by the end of the year. Ingushetia has become the 63rd region in the country to be covered by Megafon’s LTE network.

Meanwhile, the operator has also increased LTE coverage in the city of Makhachkala in Dagestan republic, where 95 percent of the city\'s area is now covered. Megafon launched its LTE services in Dagestan earlier this May.
