Mobile operator Bite Lithuania has signed a cooperation agreement with the Kaunas-based University of Technology, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 4, 2014. The two will cooperate in the field of training and studies. Telecommunications students of the university will be offered the opportunity to carry out traineeships at the operator. Bite Lithuania also plans to cooperate with the university to design voice and data service quality evaluation systems and carry out research in innovative telecommunications technologies, including LTE-A and 5G. They will also look at applications of mobile technologies in health, transport and other fields.
