CALA region reaches 44 active LTE networks
There are currently 44 commercially active LTE networks in Latin America and the Caribbean (CALA), according to a report by the GSM Suppliers Association (GSA), reported Telecompaper.com on Aug 4, 2014.
During 2013, a total of 20 commercial LTE networks were launched in the region. So far in 2014, 10 commercial LTE networks were launched in CALA, according to the report.
