Elephant Talk Communications has migrated another group of Iusacell prepaid subscribers in Mexico onto its Software DNA 2.0 platform, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 21, 2014. With this migration Elephant Talk now has over 1.75 million Iusacell subscribers on its platform. Elephant Talk said that it expects further migrations over the next quarter, as lusacell completes its transition and begins to rollout new services for its mobile network operator and MVNO clients in the Mexican market. The firm said that it expects to migrate approximately five million pre-paid GSM subscribers and almost three million other Iusacell subscribers. Elephant Talk\'s Software DNA 2.0 platform incorporates virtualized software technologies and a hosted, outsourced cloud-based architecture that enables mobile network operators to manage all of their core network and service management functions in a single software service. The software platform is designed to support a capacity of over 10 million mobile subscribers and provision of 2G/2,5G/3G/4G (LTE) and CDMA standards.
