Movistar Colombia has reached over 140,000 subscribers for its 4G LTE service, Telecompaper.com reported on Sept 19, 2014. The operator is offering 4G LTE in Colombia through 30MHz of spectrum in the AWS band. The service is already available in Bogota, Cali, Bucaramanga, Medellin, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Popayan, Pasto, Manizales, Cartagena, Sincelejo, Cucuta, Riohacha, Armenia, Cartago, Quibdo, San Andres and Soacha, among others. The executive said that the Telco currently has a market share of nearly 25 percent of the country\'s mobile telephony market.
