Mr. Eric Zhao is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Huawei’s Wireless Solution. Mr. Zhao leads the insight of industry direction, marketing strategy, product portfolio and solution planning, product launch and brand building. He is responsible for the sustained and steady development as well as commercial success of the wireless industry.
Mr. Zhao joined Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in 2002, and has more than 22 years of experience in wireless industry. Mr. Zhao used to be the President of Antenna Product Line, the President of LTE TDD Domain, and the Director of Wireless Marketing in Europe. Mr. Zhao has a deep understanding of wireless market, technology evolution and solution requirements.
Mr. Sachin Katti is senior vice president and general manager of the Network and Edge Group (NEX) at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for driving technology and product leadership throughout the network to the intelligent edge.
Katti previously served as vice president and chief technology officer for NEX, a role responsible for technical strategy and vision across the group.
Prior to joining Intel in 2021, he served as the vice president of Telco & Edge Strategy at VMware. Katti is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at Stanford University. He is also the co-chair of the Technical Steering Committee for the O-RAN Alliance and was founding director of the xRAN Foundation before its merger with the O-RAN Alliance. Katti received his doctorate in electrical engineering/computer science from MIT in 2009.
Dr. Ho-Chi Hwang leads the engineering team to conduct systematic testing and certification process to insure 4G and 5G modem performance, quality and stability since 2022. He leads the team to analyze and solve modem issues and support MediaTek’s customers in launching their products.
He joined MediaTek in 2000 and started developing 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE communication system. Then, he had been responsible to develop all generations of 3GPP-based communication systems for wireless products from 3G to 5G and he and his team also were responsible for 3GPP research and standardization.
Before joining MediaTek, he served as a researcher to study the advanced receiver architecture for WCDMA communication system at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan.
Dr. Edward G. Tiedemann, Jr. is a Qualcomm Fellowa Senior Vice President of Engineering of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. He leads Qualcomm’s worldwide standardizationindustry organization activities. Dr. Tiedemann was instrumental in the designdevelopment of the TIA/EIA/IS-95 CDMA system, also called cdmaOne™. He led Qualcomm’smuch of the industry’s efforts in the designdevelopment of the third-generation cdma2000®system.
Dr. Tiedemann holds the Ph.D. degree from MIT where he worked in the areas of queueing theorycommunications networks. He holds the Master of Science degree from Purdue University where he worked on bandwidth efficient modulation. He also holds the Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Polytechnic InstituteState University (Va Tech).
