SFR reaches LTE coverage goal for 2013
French operator SFR has announced that it has reached its target of covering over 40 percent of the population with its LTE network, over a year after introducing the service for consumers and businesses. The network was available in over 1,200 towns and cities at the end of 2013, the latest to be added being Amiens, Arles, Besancon, Bordeaux, Le Havre, Mulhouse, Nice, Rennes, Tours and Valence. The operator\'s dual carrier (DC-HSPA+) and 4G (LTE) networks now cover over 70 percent of the French population.
