Slovenia\'s independent telecoms regulator, Agency for Communications Networks & Services (AKOS, or Agencija za Komunikacijska Omrezja in Storitve), has released final public tender documents for applicants in the upcoming auction of mobile frequency licenses in the 800MHz, 900MHz, 1,800MHz, 2,100MHz and 2,600MHz bands, incorporating amendments and clarifications as published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No 10/2014 on Feb 7, 2014, TeleGeography  reported Wednesday.

The documents allow bids to be placed across the five spectrum bands with a choice of three different "scenarios" default, alternative scenario 1 and alternative scenario 2. Each offers a different combination of frequency blocks, although each option carries the overall spectrum cap of 2×105MHz across all FDD bands on offer, including the existing licensed 2,100MHz spectrum. Each applicant\'s bid must be accompanied by a 300,000 euro ($410,000) bond. The multi-band simultaneous 4G (technology-neutral) license auction is scheduled to be held on  March 25, 2014, while the deadline for accepting bids was previously announced as Feb17.
