Russian mobile operator Megafon announced that it has deployed over 50 new base stations, including LTE base stations, in the city and region of Moscow since the beginning of the year, Telecompaper reported Wednesday.

LTE services are available in the capital city, as well as 43 cities and towns in the region. The operator built new base stations in various locations in the city, as well as in Khimki, Ramenskoye, Zelenograd, Krasnogorsk,  the Sheremetyevo 2 airport and in other locations in the region.
