The French mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Auchan Telecom has come up with a pre-paid plan for unlimited voice calls, unlimited SMS/MMS, and 5-GB of data over its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, for 24.99 euros ($34.60), reports TeleGeography, quoting France Mobiles. It also contains post-paid subscription plans at 28.99 euros per month (2-GB of 4G data), and 42.99 euros (5GB). The 4G subscription is aligned with 4G plans offered by NRJ Mobile, Auchan Telecom’s sister company.

The privately-owned retail group Auchan sold its MVNO business to Euro Information Telecom (EI), a subsidiary of Credit Mutuel-CIC, and NRJ Mobile in September 2013. EI Telecom also owns the NRJ Mobile, CIC Mobile, Credit Mutuel Mobile, Cofidis Mobile and Blancheporte Mobile brands. Plans call for the Auchan Telecom brand and its associated domain to be phased out by December 2015.
