Telekom Austria Group has confirmed that Dutch holding company Carso Telecom (formerly known as AMOV Europa), which is indirectly controlled by America Movil, has completed its purchase of 13.9 million company shares, corresponding to a 3.14 percent stake in the Austrian group. The shares were acquired from Inmobiliaria Carso and Control Empresarial de Capitales. The deal takes America Movil’s total direct and indirect shareholding in Telekom to 26.81 percent, reports TeleGeography.
