Russian mobile operator MTS has started providing LTE services in the Yekaterinburg region, reports Digit.ru citing Sergey Kuzmin, the head of the MTS Urals macro-regional branch. The operator\'s LTE network currently works in all residential neighborhoods of the city of Yekaterinburg, as well as in Nizhniy-Tagil, Kamensk-Uralskiy, Berezovskiy, Verkhnyaya-Pyshma, Zarechny, Polevskoy, Revda and Sysart. The network will be launched in Pervouralsk and in some other locations in the region this year. LTE services will also be launched in all regions in the Urals federal district, as well as in the Perm region this year. The LTE network will be launched in the Yugra region soon.
