Claro to spend $1b on 4G this year
Claro Colombia has plans to invest $1 billion in the development of its 4G networks this year, TeleSemana writes, citing the operator’s president Juan Carlos Archila. The telco plans to expand its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Bucaramanga, Barranquilla and San Andres over the next few weeks, with a view to achieving 50 percent population coverage in three months’ time.
