Last Thursday, exclusive carrier AT&T announced the full lineup of hardware specs for the Asus PadFone X smartphone, PCmag.com reported on Friday.

Asus unveiled its PadFone X smartphone/tablet combo device at January\'s Consumer Electronics Show without revealing too much detail. In spite of that, some secrets were already spilled earlier this year, like the PadFone X\'s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, LTE-Advanced technology, NFC sensor, and support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and HD Voice services.

AT&T senior product marketing manager Ryan Lee disclosed more details about what he calls "one of the most innovative devices of the decade.” The smartphone sports a 5-inch, 1,920x1,080 resolution screen, while its tablet counterpart stands at 9 inches, with a 1,920x1,200-pixel display.

Asus\'s technology allows the PadFone to function as a normal smartphone, running a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, plus 16GB of internal memory and 2GB of RAM, with a microSD slot for expandable memory up to 64GB.
