Brazilian DTH operator Sky Brasil has expanded its TD-LTE network, which provides fixed broadband on 2.6-GHz frequencies, to Teresina, reports Teletime, which notes that, Sky Brasil started high-speed internet service, in Brasilia in 2011, via MMDS, and now covers 32 cities with its TD-LTE networks in the states of Sao Paulo, Bahia, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Paraiba, Para, Maranhao, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceara, and Piaui. The operator offers 2-Mbps and 4-Mbps packages via a 4G modem with integrated Wi-Fi.
