ZTE has announced its acquisition of a major contract with Cambodia\'s mobile operator Sotelco, Lteworld.org reported on Monday, noting that ZTE will supply wireless solutions for Sotelco’s 2G, 3G and 4G network services.

ZTE says that its solutions will replace Huawei equipment at hundreds of sites, covering Phnom Penh and parts of other provinces and It will provide solutions for Sotelco that support GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies on the same hardware, removing the need to run multiple hardware platforms.

ZTE\'s offerings include aUni-RAN solution that supports 42-Mbps HSPA+ 3G and 4G LTE services. Sotelco got the 1900-MHz frequency for 3G deployment, in 2013, and began working on 3G services for Cambodia subscribers in 2014 and now, 4G services, with support from ZTE.
