Mobile operator Tele2 Estonia has announced the opening of services on its LTE network in the Ida-Virumaa region, according to Telecompaper.com, with the Estonian telecommunications regulator, TJA, measuring speeds of up to 126.12-Mbps download on the LTE network in the region.

There are LTE services in Narva, Sillamae, Ahtma, and Johvi. Tele2 also improved its 3G network in the region, with new base stations and capacity up by 30 percent on average.

Tele2 Estonia plans to complete improvements on its entire network this year, with work currently being carried out in the Raplama region, with all the country to be covered by the LTE network.
