AT&T has announced plans to carry the Asus PadFone X, an all-in-one smartphone and tablet, exclusively in the US, with pricing, specifications, and availability to be announced at a later date, Telecompaper.com reports, while going on to explain that the PadFone X is a 5-inch, full-HD smartphone that activates a 9-inch full-HD tablet with the phone is docked.

It runs Android KitKat 4.4 and has a thin, light design with a brushed metal frame, a soft-touch back cover and dual front speakers. In addition, it supports LTE-Advanced technology, including carrier aggregation, as well as Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and HD Voice.
