Elisa will expand its LTE network to Vakka-Suomi, a sub-region within Finland Proper, Telecompaper.com reports, explaining that the operator is bringing LTE speeds to the Laitilaan, Pyharantaan and Vehmaalle localities in this sub-region in response to increased demand from residents of these municipalities for LTE connectivity. Also, Elisa has expanded its LTE connectivity to Luotoon and Voyrille, two localities in the Ostrobothnia region.

At present, Elisa offers 4G service in more than 260 places, of which more than 200 locations have access to LTE.
