Viva Bahrain, backed by Saudi Telecom Company (STC), has opened MPLS Virtual Private Network (VPN) services over its 4G LTE wireless network for corporate and SME customers with multiple locations in Bahrain, claiming a first of its kind in the Kingdom, Telegeography.com writes.

Viva’s chief of wholesale and enterprise, Saad Odeh, said: “As businesses grow, they might expand to multiple shops or offices across the country. To keep things running efficiently, people working in those locations need a fast, secure and reliable way to share information across computer networks … we provide our customers with a secure and reliable solution to support their wide range of business applications, allowinging them to exchange data securely anytime using Viva’s 4G network.”
