Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, has expanded and upgraded its 3G network in the city of Moscow, increasing coverage significantly in the Southern, Northern and Eastern parts of the capital city.

The coverage of the LTE network has been expanded in the Taganskiy, Presnenskiy and Basmanskiy neighborhoods, as well as in Khamovniki and Maryina-Roshcha.

The new LTE network is currently being tested in the Western and Northern part of the Moscow region. All of Beeline\'s 3G base stations are connected to IP-links and support HSPA+ technology in the Moscow region, Telecompaper.com reports.
