Lithuanian mobile operator Omnitel is providing a chance to gain access to LTE services when moving about Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Estonia, reports Telecompaper.com, while adding that the operator claims it is the first Lithuanian mobile operator to offer LTE roaming.

Omnitel’s LTE network covers over 50 percent of Lithuania\'s residents and provides Internet expense control service to all its subscribers leaving the country. Customers are sent SMSs if they exceed 30 MB of daily traffic, over smartphones or 50-MB if using mobile Internet services over PCs.
