Vodafone introduces first LTE-A router
Vodafone Portugal has announced its first Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) device - the B4000 router - which supports download speeds of 300-Mbps using carrier aggregation (CA) technology, Telegeography.com reports.
The router is priced at 299.99 euro ($406.74), but is available for a time at an introductory price of 149.99 euro and supports up to 64 users simultaneously, with a range of 300m. The company has yet to confirm the coverage details of its LTE-A network. Its standard LTE network currently covers around 90 percent of Portugal’s people.
