T-Mobile has improved its LTE network infrastructure in the cities of San Juan, Caguas, Guaynabo and Ponce, Puerto Rico, reports Telecompaper.com, citing the El Nuevo Dia newspaper.

This network optimization will allow the operator to provide higher broadband access speeds over the LTE network.

The company expects to put around $20 million into extending the 4G LTE network across the island. It has already spent $130 million on its network infrastructure in the area.
