Vodafone Germany will use the Kiel Week sailing regatta to demonstrate LTE-Broadcast technology, Telecompaper.com reports, noting that visitors in Kiel will be able to watch live video transmissions of the race, available in different camera perspectives, on their smartphones and tablets in real-time.

Vodafone will test the technology during the whole week with partners including the Sailing Team Germany, Huawei, Presentec and DreamChip.
