IIJ Global, a unit of Japanese Internet access and network services provider Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), has launched a promotion with monthly fees for voice call features reduced by 300 yen ($2.94) on the IIJmio High-Speed Mobile/D Service data communications service, Telecompaper reports on July 3, 2014. The IIJmio High-Speed Mobile/D Service provides SIM cards for data communications compatible with the NTT Docomo LTE and 3G networks. IIJ conducts a special promotion for its loyal customers by offering special prices, starting from 1,600 yen per month for the Minimum Start Plan. The promotion runs until September 30 and targets new and existing customers with contracts for voice call functioned SIM cards (Miofone).
