Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, has launched its LTE network in Barnaul, Telecompaper.com reported on July 5, 2014. Beeline said it is the first operator to provide LTE services there. The network provides average download speeds of 20-30 Mbps in the city, with a maximum data capacity of 73 Mbps. Services are now accessible in 70 percent of the city\'s area, as well as in some surrounding villages and at Barnaul International Airport.
