The Argentine government would raise ＄1.965 million in its planned 3G and 4G mobile spectrum auction, Telecompaper.com reported on July 8, 2014. The government is expected to announce the winning mobile operators in November this year. The country\'s telecoms ministry Secom said that the government plans to award 90MHz of spectrum in the 700MHz band as well as another 90MHz in AWS (1.7-2.1GHz). The government also expects to award additional 3G spectrum in both 850MHz and 1,900MHz bands. The country\'s current mobile operators are Claro, Personal and Movistar.
