The notice for the auction of the 700 MHz band, to be used for 4G mobile broadband services, is on the agenda of the 17 July meeting of Brazil\'s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), according to Telecompaper.com on July 8, 2014. Announcing the news, Anatel president Joao Rezende said he expects no problems, and that the auction notice could be published on 25 July, which means that the auction could take place in the week 01 to 05 September. Rezende added that there will be no significant changes, with four lots to be auctioned, dividend into 10 MHz blocks.
