Philippine mobile-service provider Smart Communications launched the Deezer music streaming service in its local market, Telecompaper.com reported on July 10, 2014. Deezer’s music library currently includes over 30 million songs, and the app is available in over 180 countries. Deezer’s premium offers will initially be available to Smart customers who subscribe to the company’s Unlisurf Premium Plans, which, at a starting price of 1,174 PHP per month, includes smartphone service and unlimited LTE surfing. Smart plans to launch Deezer packages for its prepaid customers soon.
