ZTE aided China Telecom in successfully completing commercial testing for IPv6 capabilities on its mobile network in Hunan province, a milestone in China Telecom\'s plans for future LTE development, Telecompaper.com reported on July 10, 2014.

The weeklong test involving trial users covered IPv4/IPv6 single- and dual-stack services, billing systems and back-end IT infrastructure systems, and test results indicated that China Telecom\'s LTE network is IPv6-ready. China Telecom\'s LTE network in Hunan province uses ZTE\'s services including evolved node B; system architecture evolution gateway; mobile management; a subscriber services/3G partnership project; authentication, authorization and accounting; a High-Rate Packet Data (HRPD) serving gateway; computer graphics; and the Electronics Process Classification Framework/eHRPD.
