Orange Romania announced a summer offer that adds LTE mobile Internet to all existing subscriptions for no additional fee and offers special discounts for LTE phones, according to Telecompaper.com on July 10, 2014. As of July, all customers who activate or renew an Orange subscription can benefit from 4G Internet with an average speed of 30/15 Mbps. Users can also activate download speeds of 60-80 Mbps with add-ons starting at2 EUR per month. Since Orange\'s 4G network was extended 3 months ago, the number of Orange 4G-active grew 45 percent to 290,000.

Orange offers a variety of 4G phones, 31 models in total, and a third of its entire smartphone sales in June were 4G-compatible. Orange is also extending its summer deal to LTE telephones.
