Polish mobile operator Polkomtel, which runs the Plus network, is offering a special promotion during the Volleyball Championship, reported Telecompaper.com on July 10, 2014. Polkomtel is the general sponsor of the championship, which runs from 30 August - 21 September in Poland. Polkomtel has introduced a “volleyball” offer for Plus Internet and. will offer Twice as Many GB with Top-ups to its pre-paid internet users. As of July 9, there is a new Plus Internet starter package that offers 2 GB data for PLN 15. Users have access to LTE, HSPA/HSPA+ and older technologies.

Plus and CyfrowyPolsatprovide26 million Poles with LTE, two-thirds of the population. The operator is working with Polish volleyball stars for the starter promotion, and a team scarf is part of the starter pack. The promotion Twice as Many GB with Top-ups runs from July 9 until September 30. For each top-up of 30 PLN –100 PLN, users get twice as much data as they had before.

The promotion of Twice as Many GB with Top-ups is available to all current customers of Plus Internet and also to users who buy a 1-GB starter package for 15 PLN 15, a 300-MB package for 9 PLN or the limited-edition volleyball starter. The promotional set also includes a modem, which is either the LTE modem ZTE MF823 or the HSPA+ modem D-Link DWM 157.
