German mobile network operator E-Plus has expanded availability of high-speed data services, supporting speeds up to 50 Mbps, to more lines on the Berlin underground system, reported Telecompaper.com on Aug 4, 2014. As a result, high-speed mobile data is now supported on the U7, U8, U9 and U1 lines, using UMTS (HSPA+) and LTE technology.
