Beeline launches LTE in Tambov, Khakasia
Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, has launched its LTE network in the Tambov region, reported Telecompaper.com on Aug 5, 2014. The services are accessible for 80 percent of residents of the city of Tambov, as well as for the majority of the population in the city of Michurinsk. The average broadband speed is 20-40 Mbps there, and the maximum speed is up to 70 Mbps. The operator also launched its LTE network in Khakasia republic, Abakan and Chernogrosk. Over 80 percent of residents can access the services there. The average broadband speed is 15-25 Mbps, and the maximum speed is up to 70 Mbps.
