Dutch operators add around 1,000 mobile sites in July
Dutch mobile operators activated around 1,000 new antennas in July, according to the latest figures from the Antenna Bureau, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 18, 2014. In total, they built 28 GSM 1,800, 67 GSM 900, 734 LTE and 168 UMTS antennas during the month. At the end of July, there were just over 33,100 mobile antennas in use in the Netherlands, including 3,753 for GSM 1,800, 10,005 for GSM 900, 13,028 for UMTS and 6,343 for LTE.
