Dutch mobile services provider Ben announced plans to offer customers 4G access from October, according to a report from Telecompaper.com on Aug 22.

Customers with a 1.5 GB plan will get free 4G at up to 15 Mbps. From October the operator is also changing its internet plans. The 200 MB, 500 MB and 1 GB plans will continue and receive 3G access, while the 1.5 GB will be upgraded to 4G and a new 2.5 GB bundle will come with 4G at up to 25 Mbps. More details including prices will be announced later. Ben said over 80 percent of the phones it offers are 4G ready. The company uses the T-Mobile network, which should include 4G coverage in the top 20 urban areas by year-end.
