Elephant Talk Communications has started the next phase of its planned SIM migration of Mexican mobile operator Iusacell\'s subscribers, reported Telecompaper.com on Sept 25, 2014. As part of the continuing migration, an additional 2.5 million GSM subscribers will be transitioned onto the Elephant Talk platform over the next four to six weeks. Elephant Talk\'s Software DNA 2.0 platform incorporates virtualized software technologies and a hosted, outsourced cloud-based architecture that enables mobile network operators to manage all of their core network and service management functions in a single software service. The software platform is designed to support a capacity of over 10 million mobile subscribers and provision of 2G/2,5G/3G/4G (LTE) and CDMA standards.
