Networking specialist ZyXEL Benelux will become a major supplier of CPEs (customer premise equipment) for Online.nl and Canal Digitaal customers after signing a new partnership with European satellite services provider M7 Group, Telecompaper.com reports on Oct 13, 2014.

The first product of the partnership is the ZyXEL VMG8324-B10A, a VDSL2/Gbit Ethernet wireless-N broadband IAD which offers 802.11n technology for stable and reliable superior Wi-Fi performance and coverage. The 802.11n technology enables the device to eliminate dead zones and extend coverage while retaining backward compatibility with any certified device. The VMG8234 supports vectoring technology that eliminates cross-talk or interference among different VDSL lines. The system can be installed at customer sites with ADSL2+ or VDSL2, or the Gbit Ethernet WAN port can be used to connect to fiber or LTE. The ZyXEL system also incorporates the TR-069 standard management specifications for service providers to manage and configure client devices remotely without end user intervention.
