Samsung Electronics, a South Korean multinational electronics company, and South Korean communications carrier KT have opened a commercial eMBMS (evolved Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service) platform for KT\'s LTE subscribers using the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung partnered with KT to provide its eMBMS network equipment and services to support the rollout. The service is powered by Samsung\'s network equipment and has been adapted to KT\'s LTE network. To use the service, Galaxy Note 3 users need to download a software upgrade. The new LTE eMBMS service can be accessed through the KT Olleh mobile IP TV application.
