Sasken Communication Technologies – a publicly traded company based in India that offers research and development consultancy, wireless software products, software services and network engineering services – has partnered with mobile wireless networking products provider Pinyon Technologies to deliver LTE mobile broadband products for service providers worldwide, Telecompaper.com reported on Monday.

An LTE Wi-Fi dongle, their initial product developed for the Indian market, will incorporate Pinyon\'s proprietary antenna technology and Sasken\'s engineering expertise in integrating hardware and software. The dongle will provide Internet connectivity through a Wi-Fi hotspot or a USB connection and will support LTE-TDD, with future versions supporting LTE-FDD. It will be available for consumers through major service providers in India and other LTE markets from the second quarter this year.
