Tele2 Rus Holding accepting bids for equipment supplies
Newly founded Tele2 Rus Holding has announced that it is soliciting bids for equipment, Telecompaper reported on Saturday, quoting Vedomosti. Tele2 is looking for a supplier for its GSM, 3G and LTE networks in 42 regions across Russia. It says that it has already spoken with Alcatel Lucent, Huawei, and Ericsson about its needs and the results of the bidding will be announced in several months.
Tele2 confirmed the report of the bid move but would not give any specifics. The new company is a joint venture of Tele2 Russia and Rostelecom.
