Russian mobile operator MTS has expanded coverage of its LTE network in the Kirov region, Kazanweek.ru reported. LTE services have become accessible in Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kotelnich, Kostino and the Ganino suburbs of the city of Kirov.

The operator plans to launch LTE services in Strizhi and Murygino, as well as expand coverage in Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk by the end of the first half of this year.

MTS sells over 25 LTE supporting end-user device models in its shops, including the MTS 1078 tablet; the MTS 978 LTE smartphone; white-label routers; and multi-standard modems, smartphones and tablets from Nokia, Samsung, Apple and other producers.
