Batelco has launched LTE data roaming for its customers travelling in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first operator in the kingdom to provide the service, thanks to an agreement with Mobily, Telecompaper reports. There is no need to subscribe for LTE roaming as customers with local LTE service can benefit from the services automatically. Beside the direct connection with Mobily, Batelco customers will be able to roam on other 4G networks using new IPX technology based on mutual agreements with other roaming operators.
